Brett loves Dave and enjoys being a power bottom to his dominant Master. Although the couple has an open relationship, Brett had not taken advantage of the option until he met Jose and his friend Pedro during an extended business trip. His experimentation with the pair opens his eyes to the pleasure of being dominant, yet he relishes his submissive relationship with Dave. With new experiences under his belt, will Brett be able to embrace his new-found dominance in the presence of his Master?
I’m beyond bored, surrounded by super-straight, beer-bellied, lushes who don’t show any interest in the resort’s activities such as hiking or horseback riding to alleviate the tedium. The “Breakfast in the Wild” event, where attendees ride horses in the bush for an hour through desert and part of a National Park with guides to ensure their safety, then are fed a hearty meal transported from the kitchen to the site in a van, is a fiasco. The terminus of the ride is actually one hundred yards from the main building in a copse of scrub trees that shields the resort from view. Most of the meal’s attendees walk up from the lodge. Only two other guests, six staff members, and I participate in the horseback-riding portion of the event.
One of the resort’s Mexican wait staff provides the sole reprieve from utter boredom. Jose, according to his nametag, in his late twenties, about five feet eight inches tall, is on the stout side. Straight jet-black hair matches his eyes and crowns an open, round face. The eyes, bright and brimming with curiosity, along with a fetching smile, complete a boyish look belying his age. For two days, every time he serves me at a meal it’s “Mister Stilton” this or “Mister Stilton” that.
The second night of the meetings, I order late-night pizza and beer from room service. I’m intrigued when I hear Jose ask the order taker if he could deliver the snack and beverage.
Kenn moved from the gay ghetto called Wilton Manors, Florida to the much more dynamic, yet still extremely gay, District of Columbia area. More than twenty years ago he submitted a short story to a “one-hand magazine” contest and won a year’s subscription. Since then he has written many stories, none of which he submitted for publication until one was published in Alyson Books’ Island Boys published August 2008. He is thrilled to be published in eXcessica.com and now in Torquere Press with over thirty titles. He is also published in two additional Alyson Books anthologies: Best Gay Love Stories 2009 and 2010. Generally, Kenn says he sees a hot male and constructs a fantasy story around him−how he is dressed, what he might be thinking, what is his relationship with the other males around him be it in a bar, a bus, a restaurant, a bank, or even a church. Sometimes a situation encountered in his daily routine, on vacation, or simply on a casual stroll around the neighborhood inspires him and a story will take shape in his mind, which is then populated from his vivid imagination. Kenn claims to find few outlets outside of erotic fiction for his innate creativity and is pleased others are interested in reading what he writes.
