The Cellar (an Opposites novella) by TM Smith Audiobook tour – Schedule, Links and #giveaway #mmromance #QueerSciFi @TTCBooksandmore @sweetheataudio

It’s time to learn the truth about what happened that day in The Cellar.
Taryn and Thanos are the formidable Ambassadors of House Orion. Taryn was born into power, bred from birth to lead the people of Greece along with his sister Theresa. Thanos was never a part of his mothers’ plan. The son of a fisherman was not a suitable match for the son of Greece as far as their mothers’ were concerned, but Taryn usually gets his way.
The Cellar is the story of how these two men met and fell in love, and what lengths Taryn went to, to ensure he kept his man. This novella also contains a more detailed accounting of what happened the night Raven and Tanis went for a walk on the beach, and the adult version ofMistletoe and Mayhem that was initially released as a free short through Goodreads.
The Cellar is much like the deleted scenes from your favorite movie. I’ve taken several scenes that were either cut short or removed from the book Appearances, and elaborated on them to create the short, sexy, and steamy novella.

Raven was exhausted after the trip and not even remotely looking forward to a huge meet and greet, so he was relieved to learn the big dinner wouldn’t be until the next night. Taryn and Thanos ordered a light dinner of traditional Greek foods brought up to their rooms for dinner that night. So they all gathered there ate, drank and talked for a few hours before everyone went their own way, mostly all heading off to bed.

Unpacking, Raven pulled his bible out and turned, opening the drawer of the table on this side of the bed, almost dropping it when he took in its contents. There was a pair of handcuffs and what looked like a whip, but was much shorter, with several long strands of the same material it was made out of streaming off the end of it.

He wasn’t sure why, but his heart beat just a little faster at the thought of what the items could be used for. He could venture to guess, since they were in a drawer just underneath the allive plant that sat on the table. Smiling to himself, Raven just chuckled and placed the whip back in the drawer, dropping his bible next to it and pushing it shut.

Raven was ready to fall into bed and sleep for days, thinking maybe he could be convinced to make love, given the right persuasion. His thoughts drifted back to what he’d just found in the drawer. Tanis walked out of the bathroom and eyed him curiously. Raven just grinned and shook off his wandering thoughts, and libido, thinking that sleep was a much better option at the moment.

He was ready to argue the matter when Tanis led him outside to the terrace, “Walk with me?” Tanis asked, leading Raven to a set of stairs that took them down the back of the palace to the beach below.

When they reached the bottom of the stairs, Raven saw another set of stairs that led down below ground, a strong set of steel doors barring whatever lay behind them. “What’s down there?” he asked.

“That’s the cellar, where it all started.” Tanis chuckled.

“Where all what started?”

Tanis smiled and continued walking toward the beach, retelling the story of how his fathers were caught and matched against his grandmother’s wishes.

“Wait, so, Taryn and Thanos deliberately got caught having sex so that your grandmother would have no choice but to let them get married?” Raven asked.

Tanis bristled at the comment, “No, not deliberately, at least I don’t think. When dad, Thanos, found out that they couldn’t get married and dad, Taryn, would have to marry someone else, he was going to leave House Orion. So da… Taryn, went after him. They got caught in that cellar and the rest, as they say, is history.”

Raven certainly thought it sounded like it was planned, the getting caught part, but rather than argue his point he just nodded his head.
