In the year 2081, our planet survived global
warming on an apocalyptic scale. When the dust settled and the water receded,
Dr. Anthony Smith, one of only a few hundred survivors of GWI, started society
anew. Having come to the conclusion that injudicious breeding played a huge
role in the destruction of Earth as we knew it in the twenty first century, he
worked closely with other survivors to isolate the Dionysus gene: the gene has
the ability to manipulate human DNA to ensure that all male children be born
gay, and all female children be born lesbians.
A new society was born
In the year 2300 Dr. Smith’s descendants are
ushering in the twenty fourth century having maintained control of the
government that still rules society. Twins, Aiya and Aiyan, are preparing to
meet their matches and take control of House Gaeland, the current ruling House.
But not everything is as it seems.
Nature vs Nurture
Love is Love… it knows no gender and doesn’t
conform to restrictions or boundaries. Aiyan has found his soul mate in Kaden,
the prince of House Devi, that he is matched with and eventually marries. But
when the person Aiya falls in love with tests the boundaries put in place after
GWI, all hell breaks loose. And in the midst of one secret unraveling, another
will emerge. There is a growing anomaly that threatens to destroy over two
hundred years of progression. This anomaly is known as Opposites.
*WARNING* Opposites is an Adult Dystopian
majorly M/M novel that contains explicit sexual content and relationships
between gay, lesbian and straight couples. There are brief scenes of violence.

Meet the Narrator of the Opposites series; Greg Boudreaux.
The spicier side of the oh so amazing narrator, Greg Tremblay, Boudreaux brings the more erotic LGBT titles to life like the Opposites series by TM Smith – the Fitting In series by Silvia Violet and the Assassin/Shifter series by Sandrine Gasq Dion, just to name a few!
Aiyan was certain that this was Maeve, his sister’s match, that thought confirmed when her eyes landed on Aiya. Her movements were graceful and confident as she made her way across the room to stand in front of Aiya. Maeve was almost stoic as she fisted her arm across her chest, bowed slightly and then straightened, making eye contact with Aiya. Her dominating brown eyes met Maeve’s sparkling hazel and she returned the gesture as the introductions ensued.
“Aiya, this is Maeve, and these are her parents.” Maya motioned to Ariadne and Theresa, introducing them first and then Taryn and Thanos.
Maeve’s mothers were extremely beautiful. Ariadne was a bit taller than Theresa with blue eyes and curly brown hair. Theresa had deep, dark brown eyes, almost black, just like her long wavy hair. Both women were dressed in floor length white silk dresses, each with an Orion pendant gathering the material at the shoulder. The color only added to their beauty as it seemed to make their perfect, bronze skin glow. Aiya noticed they had matching tattoos on their collarbone, a symbol she recognized but couldn’t name at the moment.
Aiya glanced over at Maeve’s fathers, taking note of their formidable presence. While neither seemed much taller than her own fathers, Aiya couldn’t help but see Taryn and Thanos as giants in comparison.
Thanos had chin-length wavy black hair and deep blue eyes to go with his tall muscular frame. Taryn almost frightened her with his extremely muscular build, short black hair and eyes so deeply brown they were almost black, just like Theresa’s. Where Thanos had a rounder face with high cheek bones, Taryn’s face was more defined with a squared off jaw line.
“Theresa and Taryn are brother and sister. And no, they are not twins,” Maya said with a warm smile, as if she could read her thoughts.
The families all mingled for a short time, but Aiya and Aiyan stayed together close to the fire engaged in meaningless conversation. Aiya could tell Aiyan was utterly mesmerized with Kaden. She could feel someone’s eyes on her, and looking over her shoulder she met the glaring stare of Maeve’s father, Taryn. His dark eyes seemed to pierce her skin and she shivered. Maeve turned to face her as well, her eyes much kinder. Aiya smiled shyly then returned her attention to her brother.
Maya cleared her throat, drawing everyone’s attention. “I’m so sorry to interrupt everyone, but dinner will be served in an hour. If you’d like to get settled in, unpack, or take a tour of the grounds, please do so and Amelia and I will see you soon.” Everyone started shuffling out of the library and Aiya took the opportunity to drag her brother’s attention away from Kaden so she could talk to him about Maeve. Tanis and Taryn stood looking on, matching frowns on their faces when they saw the disappointment on Maeve’s when Aiya walked right past her without saying a word.
